The Schedule by Category/ Department will allow you to view the scheduled events by category/department and indicates the platform to be utilized for the training. Mandatory Training Mandatory/compliance training will be assigned by Human Resources via NeoGov. This training will be as- signed on the calendar date specified in this catalog. Registration Registration is only required for retirement seminars and one-on-one counseling appointments. Informa- tion, including the appropriate link to register and/or attend the event, will be posted to the HR Calendar of Events in SharePoint as it becomes available. It is your responsibility to block/reserve the date/time on your outlook calendar. If you're unable to attend a scheduled appointment, please cancel your appointment by contacting Hilda Campos as soon as possible. This will allow other employees on the waiting list to schedule an appointment. Duration Event duration can range from one hour to six hours. TMLIRP Online Learning Center
The Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool provides the EAA with quality loss prevention train- ing opportunities. Courses have been created with adult learning styles in mind, and each course module is timed for one short session, usually 25-35 minutes in length. At the end of each course, there is a quiz to assess your understanding of the information provided. Course topics include risk management, human resources, safety and law enforcement (many are TCOLE approved). How To Access The Training To start taking courses, login to TMLIRP's Online Learning Center and navigate to the Course Catalog. You will have the option to search for a course or type in the course topic in the search field.

New Horizons Computer Learning Centers Program The EAA has partnered with New Horizons Computer Learning Centers for 2021! This partnership includes "live" virtual training on microsoft office applications, adobe and workplace fundamentals. Available course dates are posted on the New Horizons Computer Learning Centers Website. Once you know the course and date, please send the information over to dave.enger@newhorizons.com. Dave will verify the course is included in our account membership. You will then be required to submit a Request to Attend a Con- ference Form. Upon approval of the conference request, you will be provided with an access code and login instructions. On the date of the course, you will have the ability to log in to the "live" instructor led training in which you can "see" the instructor and interact with them through a microphone headset or via the text chat feature. Since all sessions are recorded, you will have the ability to go back through the session, including labs, for up to six months "post class" - ensuring a thorough understanding of the material.
