Field Safety Protocols Training Safety

Description: This training will discuss common EAA working environments and safety protocols for those who perform duties out in the field. Topics include: situational awareness, slips/falls pre vention, lift/ladder safety, proper use of field equipment, basic vehicle inspection, driver safety and PPE. Designated personnel who are required to take this training, will be sent a calendar invite for this event.

Substance Abuse Awareness Training

Description: It is every employee’s responsibility to maintain a safe, secure and productive work environment. One way to do this is to maintain a substance-free workplace. Learn to recognize the symptoms of substance abuse and how to help an at-risk employee. Additional details on course will be sent to staff as soon as it is available. Staff will have 14 days to complete the course.

CPR, First-Aid, and AED Training

Description: CPR, First-Aid, and AED training for EAA employees will be held in-person on Octo ber 21-23. Morning sessions (8:00am-12:00pm) & Afternoon session (1:00pm-5:00pm) are avail able. Seating is limited to 10 students/session. Registration is required via Eventbrite. Certification cards will be issued electronically and are valid for two years. Portions of this train ing consists of hands-on activities and floor practices, please dress appropriately. While this training is open to all staff, it is mandatory for field personnel.
