WATER QUALITY Water quality data collected by the EAA over the past, almost 25 years is now stored in a new water quality data management software, Aquarius Samples. In the past, the department had relied on a structured query language (SQL) for extracting data for reports. However, this newly implemented database houses streamlined field sample data in a centralized location in the cloud. This method for inputting data allows for information to be efficiently extracted and easily searchable for discovery, analysis, and reporting.
