An aquifer conditions update is presented at the EAA Board’s monthly meetings to inform board members and the public about the status of the J-17 and J-27 Index Wells, as well as the Comal Springs and the San Marcos Springs springflows. These index wells and springs are prime indicators regarding the state of the aquifer and critical to managing during times of drought.
