EAA Design Development Exhibit Concept Review - Questions

1.0 Identity Q: Can EAA clarify what, if any signage ECI is producing for the arrival/entrance?

2.0 Reception Area 2.1and 2.2 - Digital signage behind desk; digital sign displaying daily aquifer conditions (ref. drawing sheet EX-2.0) Q: is this hardware/equipment and software to be obtained and installed by EAA tech team? Q: Does EAA want ECI to wall mount provided hardware on-site? Q: Does EAA want the 2.1 digital sign mounted horizontally or vertically? 2.3 Talk-back wall (ref. drawing sheet 2.1) Q: Is this display monitor and polling software to be obtained and installed by EAA tech team? Q: Does EAA want ECI to wall mount provided hardware onto exhibit wall panel on site? Q: Do you want to go totally touch screen with comments or are you also intending to provide a keyboard and mouse for information entry. Who is responsible for specifying the polling software? We want to make sure the physical elements such as the shelf, etc. make sense. Q: Does EAA want a “universal invite” such as the text shown on the wall panel to go with the touch screen? –OR- depend entirely on the screen itself for communication? 2.4 Telepresence robot Q: Is EAA taking on the acquisition of this item? What is the quantity? Note, there will need to be a physical space for them in the floor plan and a charging/data port station for the robots. This may be an item EAA may want to test with visitors. The EAA tech team could contact one or two vendors for trial We had originally had a request for possible interaction with the panels themselves. Discussion included graphic panels that turned by hand; triangular graphics that turned by hand and contained potentially and object; corrugated or lenticular graphics and video. For clarification purposes we are showing one panel “Enhance” with a line of three smaller graphics instead of a video. Q: Are we going with all touch-screen video panels on these exhibits to play EAA video content; OR are we considering previously discussed hand-rotated graphic panels; OR all graphic panels (nothing interactive)? Q: Does EAA want overhead directional speakers for each video panel for sound control? Q: Is EAA/Architect specifying the style and color of the wall covering in the lobby? If so could EAA provide the spec for potential coordination of finishes? Is install of vwc by EAA’s contractor on site? Q: Is the open truss ceiling in the lobby painted to match the exhibit gallery? (VSR thinks it should be.) robots or at least have on site demos of their systems. 2.5 EAA Messaging Exhibit (ref. drawing sheet EX-2.1) Q: We are showing (4) four wall panels dedicated to EEA’s story. Is this correct?
